Last Sunday we read the Parable of the Wedding Banquet, during our church services. Last night it was a different kind of wedding banquet - a most wonderful kind! My dear friends William and Ricardo came together in a packed church to be joined together. It was a wonderful service! Later there was a lovely garden party, and still later, a formal reception with dinner. All of it was so splendid and a wonderful start for their new life together.My dear readers: this is another reason why Proposition 8 must NOT pass! Folks like William and Ricardo must have the right to marry. Anything else would just not be fair.
