Yesterday I mentioned the wonderful time I had Saturday night and the joy of music and that I intended to be at a wonderful service yesterday afternoon. Well, I was there and it was even more wonderful than I had expected. It was an interfaith service for peace at Saint Mark's Church in Berkeley. The liturgy was so moving that at one point I began to weep.After the service, Brian Swager, organist at Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist in San Francisco gave a recital. The organ recital was not the end of the evening either. A lovely reception followed.
It was truly a wonderful afternoon of worship and community. Thanks be to God!
